6. Licenses, Permissions, and Roles

6.1. Licenses & Permissions

A distinction must be made between a license and "access rights", which are also called "permis-
sions".

But we need to distinguish between   "BEFORE" January 2025 and   "AFTER" January 2025:

Already a few pages further up, I mentioned at "Pricing", discussions at Reddit. I think I can spare
myself to cite something from there but go rather forward to explain it pretty crude in a nutshell,
so you can better understand.

   BEFORE:

a) In a nutshell: Just people (e.g., a project manager) who created and changed a sheet, re-
port or dashboard in its structure, needed a license and pay for. Anybody else, means, any
user, was able to work without a license to make just some entries at a sheet or carry out
a report.

   AFTER:

a) In a nutshell: Any user (now called "member") needs now a license to work on a sheet.

b) Instead of assigning licenses up front, users can start collaborating immediately, and you
decide later whether to pay for continued access based on actual usage.
