28.1. Responsible & Assigned to …

• Only 1 (one) responsible person (even if Smartsheet offers the possibility to select several responsi-
ble people via "Multiple Selection"), should be assigned to a task.

• The as "Assigned to" person is not necessarily the person who has to perform the task, but is none-
theless the person who owns this task, and hence, is therefore the responsible person.

• From a Smartsheet point of view, it is absolutely necessary to use the "Assigned to" column in order
to be able to address relevant people via Smartsheet. So, please don't just add a column "Responsible",
but rather go always forward with "Assigned to".

• Usually, you just assign work packages to people, but not parent tasks.
